The blog has been quite inactive but we’re still alive! It’s like Finnish summer here in Columbus, Ohio (17 degrees celsius!) so I thought to post something hot and spicy. This tune is from Sezen Aksu’s CD “Gülümse” from 1991 and it’s still as fresh as kebab in Berlin (so I’ve heard). My mom bought this record from Turkey when we were there back in the day and ever since this tune has delighted my soul. Another reason why moms are awesome.

The blog was down for few days (my bad) and there’s been very little anything happening here in 2010 (my bad). Now that the weather is mildening up and you don’t immediately  die when stepping out of the door , its soon time for the long anticipated redesign (liar) and new mixes.

If gods an Kyösti allows; tune up tomorrow for a live stream from my house at our B-home exhibition starting around 20-21.

Guess what? Just after posting that previous post I found twenty mp3s from my jump drive… I don’t remember putting them there, but whattahell, it was great! I decided to post you some very special stuff, three unmixed, unmastered and uncomposed songs by Loving Band from 2009. Sakari and I just sat down one morning and recorded these to a 4-tracker. We had fun!

As somebody there probably knows, my computer crashed somewhat a week ago and all my records that I had digitized for you were destroyed… So I’m not able to post any new songs or mixtapes from my vaults until June when I come back to Finland. Booo-hooo!

I managed to find this mp3 from my sent emails and I think that it’s one of the best Finnish disco songs ever made. Kalifornia-Keke from Jesse recommended it to me last November and I bought the record on the very next day. Since then I’ve played it in every gig. You know, it’s an odd mixture of Finnish schlager and international electronic gothic movement, which makes me pee honey.
